Busyness

This desktop reminds me of what my life feels like sometimes, a crowded, cluttered mess filled with very important things to do, but with too many projects, too many ideas just too much busyness. While there is nothing wrong with being busy but, if we are not careful we can lose touch with what’s really important, and we can become overwhelmed, overworked and spiritually depleted. The enemy loves to see us running around in circles because if he can distract us, he can minimi...ze our usefulness in the Kingdom Of God. Remember in Story Of Mary and Martha when Jesus came to visit Mary choose to sit at his feet because she didn’t want to miss out on anything he had to say, but Martha choose to go about preparing the house for company, even getting angry with her sister for not helping and asking Jesus to tell her to help and he replied ”You are worried and upset about many things but only a few things are needed, indeed Mary has chosen what is better and it will not be taken from her”. So as we get into our chaotic days remember to not be so busy that we miss glimpses of Jesus all around us, enjoy some time at his feet.. Amen
